What is a consecration familiale au Cœur de Jésus ?
Consacrer sa famille au Cœur de Jésus , c’est placer l’Amour de Son Cœur au centre de la vie familiale. C’est une manière concrète de concrétiser la grâce du sacrement du mariage. Pour que leurs esprits se consacrent au Cœur de Jésus et à l’amour promis le jour de leurs noces, les parents du Seigneur devaient éduquer leurs enfants à l’école de l’amour. Des enfants sont nés par l’action de la grâce divine pour favoriser la sagesse, la maturité et la grâce, à l’exemple du Cœur de Jésus, dans la famille de Nazareth.
Par la consécration au Cœur de Jésus, la famille ouvre ses portes de manière particulière à Jésus comme le meilleur hôte de la maison, comme le Roi qui doit présider et guider toutes nos entreprises matérielles et spirituelles.

Proposal for a family consecration :
Kneel before the image of the Sacred Heart.
Invoke the Holy Spirit with a prayer or song:
Send forth your Spirit, O Lord, and all will be created. You will renew the face of the earth.
Silent contemplation.
Say the consecration formula in the box below slowly and fervently.

Why dedicate yourself?
Because it's a way of living Christ's love by updating the grace of the sacrament of marriage and entrusting our family to the Lord so that He can be its King and protector! At Paray-le-Monial, Jesus promised peace to families and the blessing of homes where his Sacred Heart would be exposed.
